7, 200 screeching beeps from the smoke detector-Yep it was a great stay

Liked:Near where we needed to be for our event.

Disliked:When we checked in on 3pm on Friday, the smoke detector in the living room was beeping because of a low battery. We immediately contacted the number given and was told by text it would be addressed ASAP. Well.....nope. Maintenance did not arrive until Sunday 9:30am to change the batteries. It beeped every 30 seconds for 2.5 days of our 3 day stay. It was on the vaulted ceiling so we couldn't reach it to fix it ourselves. I contacted the company by phone (had to leave a message), email, and text during and after our stay. They refuse to reimburse us any of our payment for this ridiculous issue. I have been extremely considerate in all my communications yet I have not gotten anyone to actually speak to me in person. They only want to text, if they reply at all. We literally slept with pillows over our heads to try to drowned out the screeching sound. We couldn't utilize the kitchen or the living room because of the screeching, beeping sound. If anyone has ideas how I might be able to get them to reply to me and address this issue, I'd appreciate it. I do have video and sound recordings with date and time stamp of the smoke detectors screeching. Yes, I did use the plural form of detectors. On the Saturday, a second detector started beeping from a low battery. You can't make this stuff up! Luckily, it was it the hallway and we were able to fix it ourselves. I do not recommend this property or MGM Properties, Inc.
