Peace and serenity, good food, friendly people and a beautiful apartment.

Liked:Breakfast not included, but had a good pastry and cappuccino at the dock every morning. Anse-Marcel is really quiet and serene, at the tip of St. Martin, but it is somewhat isolated. It is best for a stay of 4+ days, and essential to have a car. Still, it is a paradise in so many ways.

Disliked:The host was so kind and helpful, but we were both hampered by bad cellphone reception. Nonetheless, it was a really beautiful place, and I hope to go back to visit again.

The location is great, but avoid this unit.

Disliked:Stay away from this property. The owner seems focused only on bookings and money, not guest comfort. Unfortunately, the unit checked every “bad” box for me: only a fitted sheet and a stained blanket with cover were provided. The bathroom had no hand soap, no soap holders, and no shower caddy. We even had to clear a large clog of someone else’s hair from the shower drain because shower was clogged. The kitchen was poorly equipped: no strainer, no grater, no mixing or salad bowls, and no measuring cup. The coffee maker couldn’t make a decent cup of coffee. The unit is in a gated complex that requires a fob to enter and exit. For two people, we received only one fob, which severely limited our ability to come and go independently.
