OK for a couple of nights, definitely not a 5 star

Liked:The hotel advertised that it came with spa facilities that the whole family could use and that it came with parking. That was one of the main reasons for booking this hotel. My mistake that I didn’t realise a family room meant a large double bed and a pull out sofa bed. My teenage children struggled to sleep on the very uncomfortable sofa bed.

Disliked:When we arrived we were told that their parking was full and we would have to move our car to the public car park. The rooms are tired and need renovation. The spa facilities have to be booked, we were there for 2 days so we got a slot for the next day, they only give you a one 1 hour slot. There’s a small indoor heated pool, a sauna and a steam room. It’s nice but not like what the hotel advertises. There’s a small soft play area too which would be amazing for small children. Breakfast was ok, lots of nice coffee shops near by. Bit of a walk to the main shopping area but Andorra La Vella has changed a lot over the years and there are lots more shops on the walk on the way to the main shopping area.

Overall charming experience

Liked:Second time visiting Andorra for a one night stay before we head further into Spain and first time attending this hotel. Overall I was satisfied with our stay at the hotel as we have recieved excellent service at the front desk by the employee named Rayan, which I believe he is a valuable asset to the staff team at the hotel as he offers great communication and excellent customer service skills. In addition, he was extremely helpful at check in as he let past by a few people who were also attending to the hotel, this was due to my dad checking in online where the other hotel guests haven’t. I must admit this definitely added to the convenience which Rayan definitely has offered. In conclusion, I want to say that the hotel presented itself amazingly with pure luxury, with the bedrooms and the interior of the hotel being certainly fascinating. However, I want to add that the Spa area has to definitely seek a change as it has children throwing themselves into the pool uncontrollably and if the hotel pushes for the parents to fix this problem I see at ignorance as this issue is really major and needs a rapid fix, some suggestions would be either adding a lifeguard whom would have supervised these children or a restriction put in place in the spa area. This is the point were the hotel fell from a 5 star to a 4 star for me as it was a huge disappointment as the use of a spa area should be calm and relaxing. Other than this the hotel was a good experience however as mentioned the spa area needs immediate fixing.

Disliked:Bathroom was disgusting, sold as suite, bath was rusty,. Shower sprayed all over floor, really poor quality.. suite was not a suite, it was a large room with 2 beds, total rip off

Great Location, But Service Falls Short

Liked:I chose this hotel primarily because of its convenient location near the bus station. It was ideal for both arrival and departure and within easy walking distance of the old town. The spa with a small pool was also a nice feature. The room itself, while somewhat dated, was reasonably well maintained. That said, I did find a long strand of hair on the bidet upon check-in, which was not a great first impression. The bigger issue was the service. The evening receptionist who checked me in was pleasant and friendly, but seemed unable to answer even basic questions about the area. When I asked for a restaurant recommendation, she appeared unsure how to respond. After I selected a restaurant myself, she was unable to provide directions. She also could not tell me what type of cuisine the hotel restaurant served or whether it would be open for lunch the following day. The most disappointing interaction occurred on the morning of my departure. I asked whether a late checkout might be possible. This was a weekday in June, well outside the peak tourist season, and the hotel appeared far from full. Rather than checking availability or explaining the policy, the receptionist immediately refused with a stern expression. Overall, the location is the hotel's strongest asset. The accommodations were acceptable, but the lack of local knowledge and the unhelpful attitude of some staff members detracted significantly from the experience.
