Great stay- really enjoyable and variety of breakfast

Liked:Proximity to the metro and a short 20mins to Central station worked well. Great breakfast and facilities
Disliked:The fixed, low power hairdryer is my only criticism- but manageable.

Horrible. I spend time figuring out how to work the IPad which controlled everything. I was “working” to make the system

Disliked:It wasn’t stated up front that this was a “Smart” Internet run hotel. I wouldn’t have chose it! there isn’t a a front desk. There isn’t anyone to fix problems. In other words it isn’t really a hotel in the usual definition it’s an internet office with a bed. It’s also a little run down. All this and extremely high price. No help desk. Oh, there was a bar with a bar tender!! What a sham.

Good place to stay with ample secure parking available

Liked:The room was a good size and the beds comfortable. It was good to have outside shutters to keep the light out but there is no way to open the window. Breakfast was good, laid out buffet-style. It was quite far out of town but near a metro.
Disliked:There is a full view from the bed to the shower so fine for a partner but perhaps not for a friend! The kitchen area is fully open to the breakfast buffet and each morning I could smell the bins - not a pleasant way to start the day. I have to qualify that by saying that I have a strong sense of smell and it didn’t bother my husband…

Nice Hotel, terrible customer experience

Liked:The hotel itself is fine - clean, convenient and quiet. It was the customer service experience during (and now after) the stay. Uncooperative front of house staff when looking for a simple coffee a few minutes before breakfast opening (6:20 am)… i could see the coffee pot but because the breakfast didn’t officially start until 6:30, the answer was “no” - then offered to sell me a coffee from the bar which I accepted, then took nearly 10 minutes to prepare that coffee - when I suggested would we not be better off at this stage getting one from breakfast I was told “you’re free to go somewhere else”. Wow. During the time waiting for the coffee, saw another guest rejected from going to breakfast because it wasn’t open (it was 6:28)… silly reason to get a 1 star but indicative of the training level and initiative of the staff. Fast forward, I’m trying to get a receipt for my stay (all other Hotels auto email), and I cannot get in touch with the hotel - neither phone numbers provided are in service, there is no email and even when creating an IHG account as advised by the Chatbot - Still nowhere. Very frustrating experience from start to finish
