Great stay in a lovely apartment - great for large family group.

Liked:Well located, close to tram lines. Beds comfortable, two toilets - essential for 6 guests. Nice kitchen/diner space with sofa seating.

Disliked:More kitchen items would have been helpful - e.g. colander, utensils for stirring food etc. Lots of steep stairs as is typical for Dutch properties. Not recommended if you have difficulty with stairs as this property was on the top floor.

Disliked:The apartment is on the second floor, and the stairs are very narrow, which made it extremely difficult to carry our suitcases. The bedroom windows were left open by about 30 cm and could not be fully closed, so a lot of cold air came in during the night. The check-in was also quite inconvenient because it had to be done at a hotel far from the apartment. After taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel, we then had to carry our luggage all the way to the apartment, which was exhausting. For the price we paid, we expected much better comfort and service. I would not recommend this apartment, especially for anyone travelling with large luggage.

Great place to stay, frustrating check out

Liked:The apartments are well located in a quieter part of the city yet near a metro station and trams. The apartments are well prepared for self catering purposes. Check in was easy and we were able to store our luggage when we checked out.

Disliked:The room felt damp and stagnant. The bathroom ventilation did not work resulting in humidity in the room, while only one window opens slightly to allow air in. The check out experience was disappointing. I was aware that a €300 deposit is required, which I was willing to pay. However the payment was only reversed a week after we checked out and after returning home after almost a month, I still have not received my deposit back. If you intend to stay here prepare to add an extra €300 to your budget as you will probably only get it back after you return.

Liked:Great location, within walking distance to city center. Very spacious apartment, I did not know such large apartments even existed on Amsterdam. Neighborhood is very nice. Almost all appliances exist on the apartment and cooking etc. was easy.

Disliked:It is still more than 20 minutes walk to city center, thankfully there are many sights to see along the way. Apartment is VERY loud, both street noise and the neighbours. You can hear someone opening pack of chips on the upper floor (probably they heard us too). I jumped from my bed from the noise of outer door slamming multiple times every night. The apartment is clean enough for me but if I was a tiny bit more neat freak I definitely would have lost my mind. We visited during the heat wave therefore ventilation and cooling is not sufficient. During normal seasons probably it's fine.
