Liked:Liked the facilities. Used the gym, the sauna and the restaurant. All clean and great conditions. Bed was confortable, breakfast is delicious (great variety). The city center is like 10-15 min from the hotel by car.
Disliked:Not much to do around the hotel, its exclusive for business trips with offices nearby. The two times I went to the gym, there was no water to refill bottles, but that is minor.

Mother and son post Birthday trip

Liked:The stay was supposed to be a perfect 10, as the hotel itself is truly lovely. The reception team, the room, breakfast, and the play area for my son were all wonderful. Everything went really well until our last night. We decided to enjoy dinner at the hotel and invited two local friends to join us. Unfortunately, we had an issue with our discount card, as I was unable to log in and show that it was still valid. At the same time, my son was already getting restless as it was past his bedtime. I politely asked if I could settle the matter the following day so I could still apply the discount once I updated the card. The manager, Marjolein, responded in a way that felt quite rude, saying, “But you did not provide a deposit.” I understood the concern, and I explained that once it was agreed, I would gladly leave my card details. I also suggested to Billy that in the future for Hostess it may help if guests are asked for the Heartists card before dining, as that would have allowed me to know earlier that my card needed updating, (which I managed to fix the next day. ) She suddenly interrupted and said that it was not the hostess’s fault. I explained that I was never blaming the hostess at all, as I also understood that I should have made sure my card was valid beforehand. In the end, Billy handled the situation kindly and professionally, and we settled the bill without the discount, which was absolutely fine. I also learned that the discount card does not extend to friends, so that clarified things for us. The waiter and waitress who served us were both very friendly, and the food was excellent. What really affected the experience for me was how uncomfortable I felt afterwards. Even after we were seated quietly near the play area, the manager Marjolein continued to walk past us giving looks that made us feel unwelcome, and at one point appeared to high-five a staff member after seeing that we had paid the bill. We were never trying to cause trouble or create a scene - we simply wanted to enjoy our evening. Travelling and dining with a young child can already be challenging, and sadly this interaction made the experience much harder for me. It’s disappointing because aside from this situation, we genuinely loved the hotel and the rest of the staff ( Bar guys, Virginia and Evilinia) were wonderful.
