Nice hotel with clean rooms and a great view and great location to get into Central Amsterdam

Liked:Location was great as it was just outside the tram stop which got you into Central Amsterdam in 15 to 20 minutes. Room and bathroom were comfortable, clean and tidy. Nice view overlooking the sea. The staff were really helpful and accommodating

Disliked:The entrance to the hotel is a bit confusing as it is round the side and the you have to go up to the 8th floor for reception. Needs clearer and more prominent signage. The air con in our room was not working and couldn't be fixed but luckily we could open the windows for a nice breeze throughout the night. However, there were a few spiders in the room which the staff had to come and clear out but not a big issue.

Extremely disappointing stay – Awful cleanliness and poor hygiene

Liked:Not much, only the views could be mentioned.

Disliked:Cleanliness & Maintenance: Awful. The main entrance, lifts, and corridors were very dirty. In the room, there were giant spiders on the ceiling, heavily stained carpets and chairs, and a sticky table covered in crumbs. Facilities: Neither the air conditioning unit nor the coffee machine worked. Amenities: The towels were either torn with holes or stained. Breakfast: Very limited selection, though this was a minor issue compared to the hygiene standards. The property occupies the top two floors, but overall quality and maintenance are extremely poor. The main issue was the unacceptable state of cleanliness. I strongly advise against staying here.
