Great hotel for a short stay.

Liked:Excellent location near Centraal Station and convenient for all the main tourist attractions. Breakfast was included and the check-in and out times are considerate and unhurried. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds were clean and comfortable.

Disliked:The room was very basic and tired looking and didn’t smell very fresh.

A great little hotel centrally located in Amsterdam. First class staff. Quirky railway memorabilia.

Liked:This is a little gem of a hotel with a nostalgic theme for old trains! The location is perfect for trains, trams, buses and canal tours. The restaurant and bar area of the city a short walk away. But above all, it is the staff that make this place work so smoothly and they are all so helpful, especially Erika. Many of the staff have worked there for years and even the next generation are commencing there. I can't compliment them all enough. Breakfast is a standard good fresh quality continental. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the A-Train.
