Beauty in Amed. We just love Hidden Paradise Cottages.

Liked:Everything. We were in room 21 which was perfect. We love the staff, the food, the location for snorkelling and the peace and quiet. A great spa across the road- Devara I think it is.

Disliked:That we had to leave.

A fantastic place!

Liked:I have been going to Bali since 1970. In 1970 there were 40,000 tourists in the whole year. Last year there were 7 million tourists! Way too many! I have been to bali maybe 20 times through the years I went to Bali this year with 10 friends to celebrate my 80th birthday. I looked long and hard for a property that I thought might capture the Bali that I originally fell in love with. Hidden Paradise filled every expectation. It is a small property with individual bungalows, a large open dining pavilion, a small but beautifully landscape, pool, and right on the beach. The staff was delightful. I worked with the chef,Liam Tan, to put together an incredible birthday feast. We stayed eight days — and every one of my group loved it!

Disliked:It is about 3 plus hours from the airport. But so worth it.
