Excellent service and value for money

Liked:We have stopped numerous hotels throughout Italy and this is by far the best. The staff went that extra mile with regards service and customer care. It is obvious that the owners spare no expense on the hotel clean, well maintained, well decorated even down to the shaving and sewing kit in the room. We are often in Amantea and will be staying in the hotel again

Liked:In February, when most of the hotels are closed, this one was the best hotel I stayed in during my winter holidays in Calabria. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. In the bathroom you will find a lot of one-use amenities like toothbrush, razor with a shaving cream and nail file. In the bed there is also a duvet, not only a blanket, what was very useful in the winter nights. The breakfast is OK, they serve eggs and ham, fruit, not only Italian sweet breakfast. The hotel is located just across the road from the beach but you have to drive a car to get to the town or restaurants. It's a very good quality hotel if you compare to other hotels in the area - it's Calabria, don't expect a standard you know from Greece or Turkey. You should be aware that you can hear the noise from the road and from the train in the night but it's a standard in this region. If you are looking for a quiet place I recommend to stay further from the seaside, in the mountain village from which you can also have a beautiful sea view.

Disliked:They show an indoor swimming pool on the photos but it's not true, it's not possible to use. The reception don't speak English what is a standard in Calabria but in this quality hotel I would expect more than from others.

Disliked:A little noisy outside at times during their functions but it ended before midnight.
