I will NEVER book this hotel EVER again!!!

Liked:The King Suite we had was the largest room on the property and THAT in itself was the ONLY highlight except for the older Black woman that checked us out on Monday the 7th of September.

Disliked:The is NO PARKING on the property so, parking was $27 a day for valet and $20 a day for self parking. This is ABSOLUTELY ABSURD. This was NOT downtown Atlanta. This was in the SUBURBS OF FORSYTH COUNTY GA!!! We stay EXCLUSIVELY at Embassy Suites for all the benefits that come with this hotel. The GREAT (not in this case, I’ll speak on that in a moment) breakfast, the GREAT (not in this case and again, will speak on that again) Managers Reception drinks and snacks, the free parking and quality accommodations. Now, the breakfast… The grits were COLD. Not lukewarm, COLD. They had ONE Sterno heating source under the large pot of cold grits. The grits SHOULD come out of the kitchen HOT, and kept HOT by the heating element. They were not. Also, several guests asked for “eggs your way” and were told by the line cooks on staff that if they want scrambled eggs, they could get the ones from the pan and not cooked fresh. What’s the point of having a song that says “eggs to order, your way” if one can’t get them “your way?” There was MINIMAL cut fruit and it wasn’t served each day of our 3 day stay. Also, we were told that they ONLY serve grits on the weekend. WHAT?! This is The SOUTH!!! We don’t want oatmeal during the week. We want grits EVERYDAY!!! Making grits is just as easy as making oatmeal so, why not grits during the week?! Then the waffles… They had TEO waffle machines behind the line. One for small waffles and one for large waffles. They CONSTANTLY and CONSISTENTLY made the smaller ones. One had to actually ask for the larger waffles. They were doing the LITERAL LEAST AMOUNT OF WORK for guests as possible. The customer service was only good by the older Black ladies that were buzzing the tables. They were VERY SWEET and customer service oriented. This is ABSOLUTELY NOT WHAT I EXPECTED WHEN I BOOKED THIS ROOM AT THIS HOTEL. Overall, NOT IMPRESSED and will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. EVER.

Disliked:Did not like that self parking was so far away; Did not like the fact that upon arrival and after 830pm that the bar was not open for business, thus after our event attendance, and that breakfast on Saturday/Sunday mornings was not open until after 730am
