Very bad experience

Disliked:Not a plesent stay at all, wasn't clean at all, we had a cockroach in our room, old facilities and locks bearly work, the food was bad and gave us both a stomachache, wifi was bad painfully slow and bearly worked, the tv is not smart, we paid for a queen bed and got two singles. Not a plesent stay at all.

Liked:The location is what made this a great place to stay. Most of the hotels up in the meadows are very expensive so I was very pleased to find one that we I could afford. I did the breakfast and dinner package. Both were surprisingly good. One of my appetizers was like a pesto lasagna - it was exceptional! The portion sizes are small so the appetizer buffet is essential to get enough food if you have been hiking all day. I travel with my dog and they seemed a bit put off by it at first (even though the Booking site said that dogs are welcome) but they became more friendly and accommodating after my arrival. They have done a renovation of the room. It is nicely done but the bathrooms are uncomfortably small - nothing they can do about that.

Liked:The food! It is half board my room is double at €104. That includes breakfast and dinner. Oh boy the dinner, they start with a buffet with so many vegetables choices plus more. Then it’s three courses formal dinner. State of the art cooking. The veal stew is one of a kind, the fish was so fresh. Best value for the money!

Disliked:The bathroom is super tiny sink is a corner one so tiny I can’t put tooth brush on but with the perfect location and gourmet food it more than made up for the bathroom
