On a budget, you could do far worse!

Liked:I was only in Detroit for 12 hours (was meant to be longer, but a canceled flight in made it a shorter stay), so I didn't need anything luxurious, but also didn't want to stay too close to the airport either. This was a nice halfway point between the airport and Detroit proper where I needed to be that evening. The surrounding area doesn't look inviting, being off a busy road, but the hotel itself was fairly nice, with clean rooms, a comfortable bed, easy rideshare access, and complementary breakfast. Not a high-quality breakfast, mind you, being just basic microwaved bacon and eggs, but for a budget hotel, merely having that at all is kind of a bonus.

Liked:The staff was nice - the room was clean.

Disliked:I have kids and the whole reason of going there was for the pool - the pool was broke - we were offered to go to another hotel to use the pool but I don’t want wet seats in my car - the WiFi didn’t work - the tv didn’t work - the sink in the bathroom didn’t drain.
