Enjoyable accommodation with a pleasant host.

Liked:The property is indeed located in a quiet beautiful neighbourhood in Ajax as described. My family loved the location, the property itself and how clean everything was. We were very comfortable at the property and the host was very responsive and helpful each time we needed to contact him - which was not very often. He even let us stay a little later than the check out time because we had a night flight and there was no other booking for that day. Shopping and places to eat are located within seven to ten minutes drive from the property into Ajax downtown, depending on where we wanted to shop or eat. Going to and from Toronto city was easy on the Go Transit from Ajax Go station located about seven minutes drive from the property.

Disliked:Being picky, I would say there were a couple of toilet seats that were a bit wobbly but I'm sure these could easily be fixed and that's why I'm mentioning it.

DO NOT RECOMMEND — Serious cleanliness and safety concerns

Disliked:Very disappointing stay — cleanliness and safety concerns CAMERAS!!!!!! Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The property had several cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues that should have been addressed before guests arrived. The bathroom had visible mold, and the property did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was dust throughout, the floors did not appear to have been vacuumed, and the refrigerator was dirty. The dryer was especially concerning—the lint/fuzzy material that should be regularly removed was extremely full, which is a serious fire hazard and should have been addressed before allowing guests to use it. The furniture placement was also very poor and created safety concerns. Someone was actually injured on the property, and rather than showing appropriate concern for the guest’s well-being, the focus seemed to be heavily centered around the financial aspect of the situation. That was extremely disappointing and made an already poor experience even worse. Overall, the property needs significant attention to cleanliness, maintenance, furniture placement, and basic safety. Guests should not have to arrive and discover issues like mold, excessive dust, a dirty refrigerator, or a dangerously full dryer lint area. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this property in its current condition.
