Thoroughly enjoyable just not long enough , will do again and stop longer.

Liked:Everything went well from arrival to time to leave. Aesthetically on arrival everything was as pictured ,the grounds clean and tidy and you know that everything else is in the same vogue .Breakfast was very good and at all times service and attention was excellent.

Disliked:For us there was nothing we didn't like.

An ok stay but wouldn't rush back.

Liked:The bed was really comfortable and the shower, powerful. The restaurant and bar areas were modern and bright. The breakfast was fine. The gardens and garden furniture were lovely. The lady on Reception and serving at breakfast was extremely friendly. Parking was plentiful. The hotel was within easy walking distance to a dining pub.

Disliked:Whilst some of the areas were bright and well cared for, the same could not be said for the staircase and corridor in the main building and the windows in the bedroom obviously hadn't been cleaned for quite a while. The bedroom carpet was also in need of a clean, as there were several, noticeable stains on it - one of them quite large. The toilet flush also made a dreadful noise. I appreciate renovating a large building can take time but the current owners have been there many years now (according to ChatGPT) so I would have expected everywhere to be as smart/clean as the more modern additions.

Brilliant and worth every penny

Liked:Beautiful property with lovely furnishings set in nice grounds . Exceptional Indian meal in the restaurant and the inclusive breakfast was amazing with brilliant choices . The lady on reception was soo lovely and nothing was too much trouble for her . Comfortable bed nice bed linen and really gorgeous complimentary toiletries
